Hey, I’m Mel! When I started my fitness journey as a total beginner, I really didn't know how to make my workouts work for me. I felt unsure of what to do to see results, while also burning myself out with endless HIIT & treadmill workouts - and I knew there had to be a better way.

Enter: MELROSE Training. I became a Certified Personal Trainer and left my full-time role as a Registered Nurse to share the benefits of strength training and help women find a sustainable and positive approach to reaching their goals.

  • Engage in effective virtual training sessions via Zoom from the comfort of your own home or residential gym (no equipment needed). Mel will demonstrate each exercise, provide live cues & modifications, and offer encouragement throughout. Your initial consultation and subsequent check-ins are also conveniently scheduled via Zoom, fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle.

  • To begin, no equipment is necessary! We focus on building the foundations with bodyweight exercises, making it easy to start regardless of your current setup. As you progress, we can recommend simple additions like resistance bands or dumbbells to enhance your training. The key is to start simple and grow your home gym as needed, based on your goals and preferences.

  • Not at all! We welcome all fitness levels. Each workout includes modifications to suit your ability, and you'll receive direct support from Mel throughout each session to ensure your comfort and strength.

  • We understand that starting a new fitness routine can be daunting, especially for beginners. That's why we prioritize creating a supportive and encouraging environment. Each session is tailored to your comfort level, ensuring you feel confident and safe in every workout.

  • We offer personal training sessions from Monday to Friday. To cater to your unique schedule, we provide the flexibility of either recurring timeslots or flexible scheduling on a week-to-week basis. Our goal is to make your training as convenient and consistent as possible.

  • To ensure you achieve the best results and maintain consistency, we require a minimum of two workouts per week over a 6-week period. We also offer 12-week personal training programs at a discounted rate and with some major perks. Book your free consultation to learn more!

  • Yes, absolutely! We understand life comes with its own set of adventures, including travel. Should you need to travel during your 6 or 12-week program, we offer the flexibility to accommodate your plans. This includes the ability to reschedule sessions due to illness or travel, with sessions being conveniently added onto the end of your program to ensure you don’t miss out on your training.

  • Absolutely! Upon completion of your program, you have the option to continue with your current plan, revise it, or explore other programs we offer. We pride ourselves on a high client retention rate, indicative of our commitment to your long-term lifestyle success. Our aim is to support you in maintaining and building upon your fitness achievements.

  • All our personal training sessions are now virtual. This option allows you to benefit from our expert guidance and tailored workout plans right in your own gym space.

  • We focus on live, interactive coaching rather than written programs. This approach allows us to give immediate feedback, adjust workouts on the fly, and ensure exercises are performed safely and effectively, leading to lasting results and a superior training experience.

  • Our focus is on our expertise - fitness training. While we don't offer nutrition coaching or meal plans, we can point you towards reliable, highly-qualified nutrition resources.

  • Our personal training is available to women aged 18 and above.
